DESCRIPTION:

Inya (Biotin) is a natural supplement of a valuable vitamin, Biotin (Vitamin B7). Biotin is necessary for cell growth, the production of fatty acids, and the metabolism of fats and amino acids. Inya is used for preventing and treating biotin deficiency associated with pregnancy, long-term tube feeding, malnutrition, and rapid weight loss. It is also used for hair loss, brittle nails, skin rash (dermatitis), diabetes, and treatment of mild depression.

Biotin 20mg

MODE OF ACTION:

Biotin is a water-soluble B-complex vitamin which is composed of an ureido ring fused with a tetrahydrothiophene ring. A valeric acid substituent is attached to one of the carbon atoms of the tetrahydrothiophene ring. Biotin is used in cell growth, the production of fatty acids, metabolism of fats, and amino acids. It plays a role in the Kreb cycle, which is the process in which energy is released from food. Biotin not only assists in various metabolic chemical conversions, but also helps with the transfer of carbon dioxide. Biotin is also helpful in maintaining a steady blood sugar level. Biotin is necessary for strengthening of hair and nails.

INDICATIONS:

• Exfoliative dermatitis (exfoliative dermatitis, or erythroderma, is an erythematous, scaly dermatitis).
  • Depigmentation.
  • Alopecia.
  • Brittle nail syndrome.
  • Steroid-induced biotin deficiency.
  • Candida infections in immunocompromised patients.

DOSAGE:

As Recommended by the Doctor, Take 1 tablet daily, preferably with a meal.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Not any.

INTERACTIONS:

Taking certain medicines can lower your blood levels of biotin, which could affect your biotin dose needs. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking biotin if you are also using any of the following drugs:

• Carbamazepine
  • Phenobarbital
  • Phenytoin
  • Pimidone.
